Anniston's 2024 Dixie Double Results

 The 2024 Dixie Double, a premier air gun competition hosted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) at the Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center in Anniston, Alabama, concluded on October 27th. This annual event drew top-tier athletes from across the country, making it one of the most anticipated competitions of the year.  The Dixie Double featured two days of intense competition in 60-shot international air rifle and air pistol events for both adults and juniors. The event also included a thrilling Target Sprint, where competitors raced against the clock, alternating between running and shooting at targets.

Walther Cup November 2024

 Key Highlights:

• Date: Saturday, November 23rd, 2024
• Format: 60-shot air rifle match with decimal scoring.
• Top 8 Final: The top 8 shooters advance to an ISSF-style final with scores starting from zero.
• Prizes:
  • Winner: Brand new Walther Air Rifle
  • Second Place: $1,500

  • All Finalists: Prizes from the prize table
• Open to All: The competition is open to everyone, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additional Event:

On Sunday, November 24th, an additional 60-shot air rifle match will be held. This match is optional and can be entered along with the main event for a small fee. It offers a chance for participants to continue the competition without the pressure of finals and prizes.
